Position Overview
The Manager, EHS role will be based in the Reno, NV market and will work with multiple contractor teams at multiple project sites in the Reno, NV market to achieve company EHS objectives and goals for those projects. This role will assist site teams, both the Owners team and contractor teams in achieving the goal of zero harm and bring best practices and ideas to maintain high standards and find ways to continuously improve EHS performance. This role may be required to travel to the Denver HQ office periodically, or to other project sites In other markets, up to 50% travel.
Experience Qualifications
Education, Professional Certification, and Licenses:
Good communication with diverse teams Is required. Candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with field personnel, project supervision and management, regulators and executive level roles as required. Collaboration is important, as well as being able to identify and address potential issues or concerns with individuals and teams in a constructive manner to achieve the desired outcome.
Expected Salary Range
$140,000-$160,000 annually plus annual bonus

Experience Qualifications
- Developing site EHS plans with contractor partners
- Overseeing multiple contractors on multiple project sites
- Leading site teams to achieve EHS goals
- EHS Training and development
- Conducting audits and Inspections
- Leading safety meetings
- OSHA/MSHA regulatory knowledge
- Incident Investigation/Reporting/Case management
- SWPPP/BMP experience
- 5 years In heavy construction and civil work, highway construction/utilities preferred. Experience In surface or underground mining or crushing is also preferable. Experience In operating heavy equipment or labor roles can be an asset to this role in identifying hazards and communicating with the workforce. Degrees, credentials and certificates are considered for candidacy, but not mandatory.

- 5 years In similar heavy construction/civil projects preferred
