SEVA Healthcare is looking for a Public Relations (PR) Specialist to oversee our brand image, patient engagement, and community outreach. This role involves managing SEVA’s online reputation, ensuring positive patient and staff experiences, and developing crisis communication strategies to protect our brand.
- Monitor and manage online reviews on platforms like Google Business, Yelp, Healthgrades, and DoctorMD.
- Address and resolve negative feedback, ensuring patient concerns are heard and acted upon.
- Encourage positive patient reviews through emails, text follow-ups, and QR codes at reception.
- Collect feedback from staff and doctors to improve internal satisfaction and public perception.
- Visit SEVA clinics in Rowlett and Tulsa (monthly) to engage with patients, collect testimonials, and understand on-ground challenges.
- Develop a Crisis Management Plan outlining protocols for handling negative press, legal issues, or online controversies.
- Create PR response templates for various crises (e.g., medical malpractice allegations, social media backlash, patient complaints, or internal disputes).
- Act as the first point of contact during any PR crisis, ensuring swift, professional, and effective communication.
- Train staff and doctors on handling media inquiries and responding to sensitive situations professionally.
- Collaborate with doctors and staff to create videos, interviews, and informative content.
- Assist in organizing and covering SEVA events, health drives, and community outreach programs.
- Develop PR strategies to strengthen SEVA’s brand image and community presence.
- Draft press releases and media pitches to promote SEVA’s initiatives.
- Monitor and manage comments on social media to maintain a positive brand image.
- Engage with patients, staff, and local communities to enhance SEVA’s reputation.
- Propose and implement community initiatives to boost SEVA’s local engagement and credibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in PR, reputation management, crisis communication, or digital communications.
- Experience in handling online review platforms (Google, Yelp, Healthgrades, etc.).
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage with patients, staff, and community members.
- Basic video and photography skills (preferred but not mandatory).
- Willingness to travel to different clinic locations (Rowlett and Tulsa) at least once a month.
