We have an opening for the IS/IT Department Manager who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and successful delivery of all information and technology services to end users. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage a team of 12 located in Washington, Montana, and Alaska.
- Plan, manage, and maintain all software application systems. This includes performance monitoring and working with vendors on problem resolution. Our applications include cloud based and vendor supported applications, internally supported and vendor supported applications on onsite hosted servers, and servers hosted and supported at a third-party data center.
- Plan, manage, and maintain all network security hardware and applications. Identify and implement new initiatives as approved. Continuously monitoring network activity and security tools to prevent threats and potential breaches.
- Plan, manage, and maintain all PC, server, and telecommunications hardware and services for all users.
- Work collaboratively with our internal and external partners and customers to further integrate systems and applications.
- Manage the Company’s business intelligence reporting tools including development requests and end-user support for Cognos, PowerBI, and other forms of management and financial reporting.
- Proactively monitor, evaluate and communicate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and user support methods and procedures, while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Effectively establish operational priorities with personnel, analyze metrics to drive standards on the team and positively influence team behavior to achieve goals.
Personal Attributes, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7-10 or more years of experience in an IT support environment.
- Experience in leading and managing teams and building relationships with employees at a variety of levels.
- Demonstrated performance in workforce development, including strong experience in developing and managing staff talent.
- Knowledge of SQL, database, and programming skills is highly desired.
- Previous experience supporting AS400 iSeries is preferred.
- Familiarity with Fortinet firewall and management systems would be preferred.
- Flexible for annual planned travel to branches to manage end user application issues and challenges.
- Work schedule is in-office (non-remote) and work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
