Job Description
The Tractor Supply Company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Technician. As a key member of our receiving and shipping team, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely delivery of merchandise, and promoting a safe and productive work environment.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Process inbound and outbound freight with precision and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory control and adhere to loss prevention standards.
- Recover merchandise and participate in mandatory freight processes.
- Operate cash registers, computers, and other store equipment with ease.
- Care for birds and maintain poultry holding tanks as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience: Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
- Retail Experience: Strongly preferred, especially in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and experience are essential.
- Licensing: Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.
