This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Logistics Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring seamless logistics operations within the warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the receipt and storage of merchandise, verifying accuracy against bills of lading and packing slips.
- Assist with inventory management, conducting cycle counts and investigating discrepancies to ensure accurate records.
- Operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and two-way radios, adhering to OSHA and MSDS guidelines.
- Process UPS inbound shipments and supply orders, communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth execution.
- Participate in team initiatives to improve warehouse operations, sharing ideas and best practices with colleagues.
- Monitor and report any safety concerns or incidents to management, promoting a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and proficiency in English language skills.
