Main Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, process returns and exchanges, and ensure that all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.
- Receiving and Shipping: Receive and process incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition of merchandise, and ship out orders to customers in a timely manner.
- Safety and Security: Ensure that all Team Members, customers, and vendors are provided with a safe and secure work environment by adhering to Tractor Supply Company safety training and guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience: Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
- Retail Experience: Strongly preferred, especially in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and experience are essential.
- Licensing: Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working at heights. You must also be able to operate a forklift, cardboard baler, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
