Lawn Care and odd jobs for Animal Shelter

Job Overview
We are seeking a High School student or equivalent to help us with Lawn Care and odd jobs around our Animal Shelter (painting, routine maintenance etc) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working around dogs and strong desire to keep our facility in good working order. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions to ensure the health and appearance of residential and commercial landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming lawns.
• Utilize power tools such as drills, lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular checks and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to complete routine maintenance projects on time and to client specifications. (changing filters, putting salt in water softeners, painting).

Experience

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with mechanical tools and equipment used in lawn care is advantageous.
• Knowledge of garden care practices, including plant identification and pest management, is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
