HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW
Oversee & Support Trade Compliance business unit functions – mostly Imports & some Exports in the Cleveland, OH area
EXPECTATIONS
Oversee & Support Business Units in the Trade Compliance function
Will be responsible to assess current Trade Compliance program, make recommendations and roll out guidelines for all Business Units.
Support/guide/audit/train all Business Units in regard to Trade Compliance matters
Oversee all FTA's – especially USMCA
Classify products -HTS/ECCN
Set up KPI's for FF & Brokers – audit
Look for potential cost savings through programs such as duty drawback, reconciliation, etc.
Strong leadership/managerial skills
Work with all Government agencies to especially CBP & BIS
Procedures/manuals/training
ESSENTIALS
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Licensed Customs Broker preferred
Experience with all aspects of importing as above expectations state
Experience with all aspects of importing as above expectations state
Auditing experience
Some export licensing preferred
Extensive experience in Microsoft applications
Travel will be required – all local day trips, otherwise 100% in office
