What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Control Clerk position at TRADE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY L?
Overview:
Responsible for assisting the QC department in daily operations
Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly safety meetings
- Assists QC department with review of data documents
- Assists Document Control as needed with quality control documents for each project
- Build data books from pre-established templates as required by Client
- Input data into spreadsheets to keep track of welds made, NDE, and hydrotesting
- Input data into STS when required (On the job training)
- Scan in documents as needed to complete data books
- Comply with all Company Core Safety Rules, policies and procedures.
- Report any unsafe conditions wherever they exist to the safety department, their supervisor, or the management of Trade Construction immediately.
- Report all incidents/accidents/injuries involving the health and wellbeing of any employee to management immediately.
Required Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Work with minimal day to day guidance; self-motivated to achieve the position’s responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively with other employees and departments
- Strong attention to detail
