Overview:
Generates accurate and precise spool drawings and fabrication details in Acorn specific to the Company’s pipe fabrication business line.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to troubleshoot and apply critical thinking skills as applicable to the position
- Completion of assignments in a timely and accurate fashion
- Piece marking of customer isometric or orthographic drawings
- Interacts and gives feedback on workload and status as required by the drafting supervisor
- Provides support to project management on drawing interpretation
- Comply with all Company Core Safety Rules, policies and procedures
- Report any unsafe conditions wherever they exist to the safety department, their supervisor, or the management of Trade Construction immediately
- Report all incidents/accidents/injuries involving the health and wellbeing of any employee to management immediately
Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting isometric and orthographic drawings
- Knowledge of pipe fabrication and Acorn is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional ability to work well with management
- Communication and teaming abilities
- Proven organizational skills
- Proven work ethic
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines or business demands
