Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paintee to join our team. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and maintaining tools and equipment. The Paintee will work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Mix paints and other materials to achieve desired colors and textures.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to specifications.
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the duration of projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a painter or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools is essential.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently when needed.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and quality finishes.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting materials as needed.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
