Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of pipefitting, including installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site protocols and the ability to work effectively with blueprints and technical drawings. The Pipefitter will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with industry codes and standards.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of piping systems.
- Stainless Steel pipe
- Copper pipe (pro press)
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, threading, and joining pipes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
- Conduct inspections of piping systems to identify any issues or required repairs.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, particularly stick welding.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Experience using power tools in a safe manner on construction sites.
- Understanding of relevant codes and standards governing pipefitting practices.
