What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Mechanic position at TradeCorp?
We are hiring HVAC COMMERCIAL INSTALL
Responsibilities:
- This individual will be responsible for being proficient in all styles of duct (spiral, galvanized, rectangular, double-wall, SnD, etc.)
- General knowledge of piping and controls, AC install, retrofit, fiberboard
- Responsible for working with fiberglass, plastics, and other nonmetallic materials
- Measure and cut appropriate size of sheet metal, as well as install preassemble duct
- Interpret blueprints and complete layouts if necessary
- Use scribers, dividers, and squares to mark dimensions on materials
- Inspect assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years in commercial duct installation
- Ability to understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
- Must have Tools and Transportation
