Job Description :
Land Development Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of development through entitlement, and construction processes for all residential projects except acquisitions.
This position requires a person with successful land development experience, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the residential homebuilding.
Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive land development strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives and market opportunities.
- Entitlement and Permitting : Lead the entitlement process for new residential developments, including zoning approvals, permitting, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance.
- Financial Management : Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for land development projects, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness throughout the development lifecycle.
- Project Management : Direct and coordinate all aspects of land development projects, including site planning, engineering design, infrastructure construction, and landscaping through construction phase handoff.
- Team Leadership : Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing land development team, providing guidance, support, and leadership to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
