The Relationship Banker serves as Trademark's leader in building meaningful, participating Member relationships, founded on trust, with a clear focus on high impact transactions. This team member will lead by example, becoming a role model to other Member Service Officers, by providing quality Member service with the highest degree of accuracy and professionalism. The successful Relationship Banker will drive sales while uncovering opportunities to deliver tailored solutions and creative problem resolutions that serve to strengthen the Member's wellbeing. The Relationship Banker possesses excellent listening and communication skills and an eagerness to demonstrate a sincere desire to help Members through relationship building, owning the relationship from beginning to end with the highest degree of priority.
Position Responsibilities:
· Proficient in opening new accounts and providing Members with all necessary information.
· Proficient in the origination of all loan products. Follows up to ensure all aspects of the transaction have been correctly completed.
· Meets the Relationship Banker goals and objectives set by management. Assists the Branch Manager and VP of Service and Operations with organizational goal attainment.
· Proactively reaches out to Members with the purpose of reviewing their relationship, educating them on Trademark's offerings, and selling products/services, including those targeted by outbound initiatives identified through multiple channels.
· Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Adheres to all security procedures and regulatory guidelines for Regulation CC, the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and USA Patriot Act/Customer Identification Act (CIP). Keeps current on related policies and procedures.
· Delivers an extraordinary service experience by providing accurate, courteous, friendly, timely and professional service to every Member. Acts at all times in a professional manner, maintains an organized and professional work environment, and presents a businesslike appearance.
· Responds to all Member contacts and messages as quickly as possible, but no later than the end of each workday.
· Controls high impact transactions – participating memberships, loan volume, and ancillary product sales. Further develops skills and delivers fully participating memberships that keep our Members a step ahead while driving organizational revenue.
· Contributes to a positive work environment. Acts as a team player, as Member demand will likely require assistance with all services and products. Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Qualifications:
Motivating others is a material part of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
· High school graduate or GED
· One year to three years of similar or related experience
· Strong background in consumer and real estate lending originations
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
· Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professional courtesy
· Excellent Member service skills
· Accuracy and attention to detail required
· Knowledge and experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Working conditions:
· Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable- an office environment
· Normally seated with freedom of movement on a regular basis
