We manage assets for private wealth investment advisors nationally, serving as an outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) and providing investment consulting services. Role : Your primary role is as an execution trader for our investment management clients. Execution traders oversee hundreds of portfolios at scale, handling rebalancing, account monitoring, and tactical updates. Traders are detail-oriented and take ownership of their responsibilities. As a fiduciary, you prioritize client investment outcomes above all else.

The pace of work can vary : some days are fast-paced and stressful due to market volatility, while others are slower and provide opportunities for reading and research. As a member of our investment committee, you will contribute ideas and critiques, helping to shape investment strategies.

Responsibilities : Trading Functions :

Oversee and own the trading function at TFM, ensuring best execution, workflow efficiency, and trade compliance.
Manage maintenance and portfolio administration trades.
Demonstrate mastery of trading software and portfolio management platforms.

Portfolio Administration :

Support portfolio managers with trade management and position monitoring.

Handle operational reports such as cash reports, position reports, and redemption schedules.

Support performance reporting and performance analysis, both portfolios and strategies.

Investment Models and Research :

Learn and maintain investment models, implementing improvements as needed.

Supported manager research and contributed to investment committee meetings and research calls.

Growth Opportunities :

Develop and enhance the trading platform.

Adopt and integrate additional technologies / solutions for back office and reporting.

Take on expanded responsibilities in back-office operations, investment management, or front-office projects.

Contribute actively to research and due diligence.

Transition into junior portfolio management responsibilities, including managing investment models and portfolios.

Requirements :

Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.

Passionate about financial markets, with a demonstrated eagerness to read and learn.

Highly detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to asking questions and tracking key details.

Technologically fluent, possessing advanced Excel skills (the strongest on the team).

Understanding of fundamental investment and financial market concepts.

Obtain the Security Industry Essentials (SIE) certification within the first three months of employment.

Obtain a Series 65 license within the first six months of employment.

College degree required.

Open to candidates starting their career in investment management or those with relevant experience.
