Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and financially driven Senior Financial Analyst to support our Asset Management team. This role is central to guiding strategic decisions for a diverse portfolio of commercial assets, evaluating performance, and forecasting cash flows. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in real estate finance, data analysis, and financial modeling, with strong knowledge of retail and mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models for property-level analysis, forecasting, and valuations using Excel and Argus.
- Analyze property performance metrics including NOI, IRR, cash-on-cash return, debt service coverage, and yield-on-cost.
- Collaborate with leasing, operations, and development teams to evaluate the financial impact of leasing and capital projects.
- Prepare clear, accurate internal reports and presentations for executive leadership and joint venture partners.
- Develop and maintain 10-year cash flow projections for internal use and investor reporting.
- Conduct sensitivity, breakeven, and scenario analyses to assess risk and inform decision-making.
- Support annual budgeting and reforecasting processes, integrating leasing assumptions, capital expenditures, and market trends.
- Monitoring lease compliance, co-tenancy, occupancy cost ratios, and tenant sales performance.
- Assist with lender and investor reporting, including quarterly reports and debt compliance packages.
- Support acquisition and disposition underwriting, including due diligence and exit strategy modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, accounting, or economics; MBA or CFA a plus
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management, investment analysis, or finance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; Argus Enterprise experience required
- Familiarity with Yardi, MRI, VTS, and/or other real estate management platforms is preferred
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong executive presence and attention to detail
