Location of worksite : Constitution Ave, NW Washington, DC
Full Time Monday - Friday 06 : 00am to 02 : 30 pm
Pay Range $41.00to $44.00
Subject to emergency on-call and callback status including nights, weekends, holidays. Flexibility to work alternative schedules or overtime as necessary.
Summary
Serve as a Licensed HVAC Technician or Licensed Building Engineer and perform complex technical work in the HVAC trade functions, on a journeyman level, in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service and repair of commercial building systems, equipment, and related mechanical systems, in accordance with applicable industry codes. Also serve as an onsite supervisor for a team of 6 maintenance technicians including licensed plumber, licensed electrician and general maintenance staff.
Licensed HVAC Technician or Licensed Building Engineer performs a variety of HVAC functions . Perform a variety of general maintenance functions including efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems. Building systems include HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, masonry, flooring, and hardware.
Required Licenses, Registrations or Certifications for HVAC Mechanic Or Building Engineer
- Required : Hold and maintain required federal badging for building access.
- Required : Journeyman’s HVAC License or DC 3rd Class Engineer License
- Required : Universal CFC
- Preferred : OSHA 10 Training, OSHA Asbestos Awareness, UST Class C Certification
