Trader Joe's is unlike any place you've ever worked. Trust us on that. The qualified person has at least 5 years of Payroll & HRIS experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/HR is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Monrovia, California.
The Sr. Payroll/HRIS Analyst is responsible for:
- Processing full cycle multi-state payroll.
- Reviewing payroll data and documents for accuracy.
- Processing tax deductions and other government-mandated deductions.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal payroll laws.
- Researching new tax and sick leave laws.
- Creating or modifying reports in HRIS system.
- Creating or modifying workflows in HRIS system.
- Utilizing communication, analytical and technical skills effectively with all HR functions and HRIS system provider to ensure proper completion of projects.
- Participating in routine meetings and projects as requested.
The qualified candidate has:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.
- Working knowledge of Dayforce HRIS is a major plus.
- CCP is a plus.
