Like shopping at Trader Joe's? Then, maybe you'll love working with us. We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Analyst who is searching to do what they'll love! Do you have experience in supply chain operations, forecasting and AI tools? Do you love food? If so, read on! We may have the role of a lifetime for you!
Trader Joe's is unlike any place you've ever worked. Trust us on that. The qualified Supply Chain Analyst has at least 3 years of forecasting and financial modeling experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree in Data Science or Supply Chain is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Monrovia, CA 5 days a week.
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for:
- Working collaboratively across teams to identify, analyze and solve supply chain problems in each step in the process to improve quality for customers and reduce costs.
- Developing and maintaining tools to forecast item movement at store and distribution centers.
- Using advanced data analytics techniques and tools like AI and machine learning to answer complex business questions and provide actionable business insight.
- Analyzing financial and service impacts of various paths through the supply chain while developing reports, dashboards and other tools to monitor the health of the supply chain and drive informed decision making
- Working collaboratively with other departments.
The Supply Chain Analyst has:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in data or computer science, applied mathematics or statistics, finance, economics or supply chain management.
- 3 years of related experience and training with an understanding of supply chain analytics.
- Advanced experience in Excel, SQL, Python, R or similar tools.
- An ability to partner with stakeholders to understand the problems teams are facing and be able to concisely communicate solutions.
- Flexibility in their work schedule to travel and be available on weekends as needed.
