JOB SUMMARY
The Engagement Director (Engagement Pathway) is a vibrant, relational and influential leader who welcomes people in and helps them take their next step towards Jesus. The Engagement Director is the primary leader accountable for the execution of the engagement pathway for their campus. The Engagement Director – Engagement Pathway will be responsible for the initial connection of those who are new here at Traders Point and will help them take their first step toward engagement. The Engagement Director is responsible for all first-time guest gifts, implementing First Step and follow-up at their campus. Engagement Director – Engagement Pathway oversees the Difference Makers teams including the Info Central team, New Here, and First Step team and Follow-Up Team.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but will provide oversight of Difference Makers.
DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS
- Create a culture on the Engagement team at their campus that aligns with Traders Point Christian Church's mission and vision.
- Visible weekend presence empowering Difference Makers and engaging with those new at Traders Point Christian Church.
- Provide timely follow-up with all connect cards, connection requests, and email communication
- Recruit, train, develop, and care for Difference Maker team leads and coaches on the Engagement Pathway
- Create an engaging and intentional environment in First Step that encourages people to take their next step and supports the campus team in reaching team goals.
- Cast vision effectively in a large setting and in individual conversations, leading people to greater engagement.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Serve under the oversight of and report directly to the Engagement Director – Team Lead
- Serve under the guidance of the Ministry Engagement Pastor and Campus Pastor
- Receive and execute central information from the Ministry Engagement Operations Lead.
- Will be a fully engaged member of TPCC.
- Collaborate with Campus team staff members and Engagement Team staff members.
- Collaborate effectively with central departments (i.e., Safety, Properties, IT, MarComm).
- Kingdom collaboration between other churches and ministries.

PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Proficient administrative and organizational skills utilizing Microsoft Office, ROCK, Asana and Planning Center Online.
- Leading volunteer teams
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor’s degree or 3 years of similar ministry experience is preferred.

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday with regular Saturday and special event contributions.
