JOB SUMMARY
The Environments Assistant is a 6-month position that provides support to the Environments team by assisting with and/or managing specific building, design and interior design projects. This individual will coordinate, update, and collaborate with Ministry, Creative and Operations teams to ensure timely, accurate, and optimized deliverables within scope and budget. This role requires a balance of project coordination, interdepartmental communication, external communication, and design creation.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS

Direct participation in multi-site experience.

Participation in an all-church serving opportunity (Men’s/Women’s Night, Easter, Christmas, etc.).

Harmonious relationships with other staff members, facilitating inter-team collaboration.

Manage project workflows, timelines, and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet ministry needs.

Create spatial or aesthetic plans for campuses.

Coordination with internal teams and/or external vendors.

Perform other duties as required.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

Serve under the general oversight of and report directly to the Environments Project Manager.

Participate as member of the Environments staff, attending applicable meetings and special events as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in design, project or business management or equivalent level of training in a related field required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENTS

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel or squat.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.

Must be able to work various hours to accommodate events occasionally.

Ability to travel locally as needed.
CLASSIFICATION
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt
Full or Part-Time: Full-time (There may be occasions when it will be necessary to work evenings and/or weekends.) In these cases, every effort will be made to adjust hours during the week to ensure that the total worked is no more than 40 hours per week.
Temporary/Contract: Temporary (6 months)
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday
