JOB SUMMARY
The Facilities Assistant assist in creating and maintain a clean, safe, inviting, and purposeful environments that accelerate the vision and mission of TPCC, to remove all unnecessary barriers for those attending services at any TPCC campus.
The Facilities Assistant must be a model of Christian character who lives out TPCCs Staff Values (Humble, Hungry, and Healthy) and Norms (Surrender, Growth, Multiplication, Gratitude, Generosity, Flexibility, Engagement, Balance, Grace, and Alignment).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but will be responsible for the following:
- Serve as a primary facilitator for Sunday services at Multisite campuses
- May fill in as point person in absence of Facilities Manager and/or Multisite Facilities Lead
DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS
- Maintain a competent, dependable, personable, and ministry-minded team.
- Attend appropriate meetings within TPCC staff
- Complete understanding of custodial chemicals, chemical safety, and usage.
- Ensure appropriate opening and closing procedures to ensure the building is unlocked and locked in preparation of building usage in absence of Facilities Manger or Multisite Facilities Lead
- Ensure timely completion of facilities work tickets
- Complete assigned daily tasks in Jira
- Travel to multisite for cleaning in prep for groups and Sunday services
- Communicate with Facilities Director regarding incomplete tasks needing special attention
- Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and preparedness to execute plans when necessary.
- Attend appropriate safety team trainings and act as part of an extension to the SMT on Sunday and church wide events.

- Ability to lift/carry, up to approximately 50 pounds
- Physical mobility and endurance to perform tasks while standing/walking for long periods
- Visual abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
- The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- The employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; toxic or caustic chemicals; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low, except on Sunday

Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Must understand and align with TPCC in that maintaining outstanding environments is a ministry to our attenders and outside groups
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to self-lead in an efficiently and effectively
- A thorough knowledge base of custodial functions, floor care, custodial chemicals, and safety
- Able to manage several projects simultaneously as assigned
- Must pass a background check
