JOB SUMMARY
The IT Solutions Specialist is responsible for partnering with TPCC ministry teams, coordinating efforts to integrate IT solutions with TPCC and ministry strategies. The IT Solutions Specialist leads IT team efforts to align TPCC’s software, technical solutions, and related services with the business requirements of TPCC ministries. This individual will partner with IT team members to identify where and how our technical solutions are best applied, leading research regarding what solutions and services are needed to address ministry needs, and orchestrating the delivery of such solutions. The IT Solutions Specialist is responsible for increasing awareness, working knowledge, and adoption of available IT solutions by staff and volunteers; and maximizing outcomes by guiding and counseling ministries.
The IT Solutions Specialist is responsible for partnering with TPCC ministry teams, coordinating efforts to integrate IT solutions with TPCC and ministry strategies. This individual is responsible for optimizing the use of the Rock Relationship Management System (RMS), and guiding the deployment of other IT solutions in order to meet TPCC requirements while also assuring good stewardship of all technology investments. The IT Solutions Specialist will work with ministry teams to clarify and guide ministries as their strategies and objectives intersect with applicable technology.
The IT Solutions Specialist will work in close partnership with the Rock Application Manager, IT Systems Manager, and IT Digital Product Manager to create the best possible solutions and affect the best possible outcomes for TPCC as it relates to use of technology solutions.

DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS

Focus on people and outcomes through the best uses of technology

Be an expert in the use of technology solutions offered by IT including, but not limited to Microsoft suite and the RMS Platform
BUSINESS ANALYST FUNCTION
-
Meet with ministry personnel and teams to uncover business requirements that can be addressed by technical solutions from IT
-
Work in partnership with the IT Applications Manager and IT Systems Manager and under the guidance of the IT Projects and Solutions Manager to identify and clearly document requirements for technology solutions
SOLUTION MANAGEMENT FUNCTION
-
Partner with the IT Systems Manager to create IT solutions strategies and best practices; and assure delivered solutions are in alignment with said strategies and best practices

Work with ministries to assure adherence with best practices as relates to application of technology
-
Lead IT team efforts to manage expectations with relation to where and how technology can/will be used to meet ministry objectives

Assurance of alignment of final product and solution deliverables meet the defined requirements
-
Participate in roadmap development for RMS and related solutions.
SOLUTION MARKETING AND TRAINING FUNCTION
-
Responsible leading (in partnership with Rock Application Manager) IT communication with ministry teams about RMS platform (and that of related solutions), promotion of the RMS platform capabilities, and assurance of good (appropriate) usage of the RMS platform

Responsible for leading (in partnership with IT Systems Manager) IT communication with ministry teams about other IT products and solutions including the likes of the full O365 suite, phone and SMS systems, work management tools, and other technical solutions.

Responsible for (in partnership with IT Systems Manager and Rock Application Manager) leading out development of IT related training and user documentation.

Develop education plans for identified IT initiatives to increase staff visibility, awareness, and correct use of such tools

Create training videos, tutorials, and educational videos to use seen by both staff and church volunteers
-
Initiative to plan and execute awareness events for new technology solutions and softwares
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

This position reports directly to the IT Projects and Solutions Manager

Participate as member of the IT staff, and attend applicable meetings and required special events
-
Work in partnership with the IT Director, IT Systems Manager, IT Applications Manager, and IT Digital Product Manager, to plan, implement, launch, and train on technical solutions.

Lead TPCC in regard to adoption of an application of technology in performing ministry
-
Actively maintain productive and healthy relationships with TPCC ministries and the staff within each.

Maintain consistent interactions with TPCC staff and volunteers, facilitating clear discernment of user experience with TPCC technology
