JOB SUMMARY
The Property Assistant assists in creating and maintaining clean, safe, inviting, and purposeful environments that accelerate the vision and mission of TPCC to remove all unnecessary barriers for those attending services at any TPCC campus.
The Property Assistant must be a model of Christian character who lives out TPCCs Staff Values (Humble, Hungry, and Healthy).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS
- Maintain an outstanding exterior facility and grounds necessary to facilitate the church's ministries and ongoing or special events
- Maintain consistent, appropriate, and efficient climate control within the building
- Develop a thorough knowledge base of routine upkeep, repair, and remodeling needs and appropriate use of vendors when necessary
- Understand the needs of those using the building, especially in the case of large and/or church-wide events
- Ensure timely completion of facilities work tickets
- Participate as a full member of the support staff including attending meetings and special events as required
- Work closely and in conjunction with the entire Environments Department (Property, Facilities, Safety, Scheduling) to become fully familiar with all church property, facilities, equipment, procedures, safety, and security needs in detail.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
- This position reports directly to: Property Manager.
- This position also serves under the general oversight of: Property Director.

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (8am-5pm) (possible evening hours and Sunday hours may be required)
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to safely operate various types of equipment including power tools, lawnmowers, tractors, lifts, and large vehicles with trailers
- Ability to learn the basic function of the following systems: plumbing, HVAC, HVAC controls, and electrical systems
- Must understand and align with TPCCs value that maintaining outstanding environments is a ministry to our attenders and outside groups
- Ability to self-lead efficiently and effectively
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously as assigned
- Must pass a background check
- Must possess a valid/current drivers license.
PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Drywall repair and painting
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required
