JOB SUMMARY
The Rooted / Large Group Director contributes to the vision, values, and strategic planning of the Groups Team.
DUTIES / PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS
GROUPS TEAM
- Contribute to the overall Traders Point Groups mission – to develop and deploy disciple makers.
- Participate in all Groups Team activities / projects / trainings
ROOTED
- Resident Expert of Rooted
- Liaison with the Rooted Network and others to ensure TPCC is executing Rooted best practices
- Represent Rooted to Campus Leads and Central Operations teams
- Ongoing oversight of Rooted curriculum and programming, including Large Group content weeks
- Successfully manage Rooted at all Traders Point campuses
- Lead the Campus Groups Ministers/Directors in all Rooted efforts
- Lead the vision, values, and strategic priorities of Rooted
- Lead, coach and manage departmental priorities and standards, ensuring campuses are set up well to execute Rooted
- Provide feedback, accountability, and encouragement to the team
- Create new opportunities for Campus teams to recruit facilitators and engage attendees
- Rooted Logistics / Project Management
- Dashboard – Maintain and operate Rooted dashboard, working closely with the Engagement Pathway
- New Campuses- Provide direction to new campus launches and staff teams
- Rooted Facilitators
- Lead, coach, encourage all Rooted facilitators at each campus
- Oversee facilitator training content and materials across all campuses
- Travel / Workdays
- Travel to each campus based on campus training needs and Rooted launch schedule
LARGE GROUP SPACE
- Traders Point will utilize large group spaces to funnel people from the Engagement Pathway to Discipleship. The Large Group Director will proactively think through how all group spaces connect and grow together – Micro-group, Small group, Large group/Rooted.
- Large Group Curriculum
- Create curriculum for large group spaces based on message series, DBRs or other topics as directed by Traders Point Leadership
- Large Group Logistics / Project Management
- Execution of all large group spaces at each campus
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Rooted/Large Group Director will not have any full-time staff direct reports but will provide leadership and oversight of volunteers and Rooted facilitators.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Serves as a part of the Groups Team and reports directly to the Lead Discipleship Pastor.
- Clear, timely interaction and communication with campus and central ministries, volunteers, Rooted facilitators, and Rooted participants.
- Harmonious relationships with other staff members, facilitating inter-team collaboration and Kingdom collaboration between other churches and ministries.

- Excellent Leadership skills and the ability to work with many different groups of people
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter with the ability to create and forge paths into uncharted territory
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently
- Working knowledge of all church ministries and programs (ROCK, Planning Center, Xledger, Asana)
- Ability to work well in a team setting, collaborating with a variety of people and able to work on projects individually
- Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple projects at once
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience serving in a ministry role
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of experience leading volunteer teams and developing volunteer leaders required
