JOB SUMMARY
The Facilities Manager is to prepare the TPCC buildings as outstanding environments for people attending our campuses. This is done by leading a team of staff and managing outsourced vendors to keep the TPCC facilities clean, inviting, and prepared for use by individuals and groups.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the entire Environments Department, the Facilities Manager,will manage a team of staff, coordinate with outside vendors, and liaise across all areas of operations, thereby bringing increased focus on creating and maintaining a beautiful, safe, clean, inviting, and functional space.
- Serve as the primary building facilitator of weekend services and special events.
- Lead and coordinate travel team.
DUTIES / PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS
Overall leadership and oversight of the travel team.Leadership and oversight of Full Time Facilities Employees.Negotiate contracts with outsources cleaning vendors and ensure that the terms and expectations of the contracts are being fulfilled.Proactive stewardship of the Facilities budget.Oversight of scheduling of the buildings and proactively looking for possible conflicts to be resolved.Ensuring the Facilities team is prepared to support and resource special events at TPCC campuses.Creating schedules, policies, and procedures that allow the Facilities team to successfully support the building schedules and maintain outstanding environments.Responsible for creating and maintaining a healthy culture on the Facilities team.Perform other duties as required by FacilitiesDirector.Job description is subject to change based on the organization / department's needs.INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
Must understand and align with TPCC in that maintaining outstanding environments is a ministry to our attenders and outside groups.Strong collaborative team-building, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.Able to lead a team effectively.Strong emphasis on stewardship while maintaining quality.Ability to work with vendors in a Christ-like manner that maintains the best interests of TPCC.Maintains high standards of quality that are reasonable and attainable.Collaborative communicator working with internal and external groups to support events in an effective way while maintaining the health of the Facilities Team.Able to coordinate and manage several projects simultaneously.Comfort with basic computer functions such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel.Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, balance competing priorities and tight deadlines, work under pressure, and remain flexible.Must pass a background check.PREFERRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
One who gives attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Able to learn scheduling and budgeting software.Has experience in preparing an annual budget and working within the budget.Demonstrated ability to inventory and order supplies, equipment, and resources.Maintain successful relationship with outside contractors.Thorough knowledge base of custodial functions, floor care, custodial chemicals, and safety.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
