Access Control Gate Technician Job Description
- Install and service gate access control systems, including keypads, card readers, and electronic locks.
- Pull, label, and terminate low-voltage cabling for access control systems.
- Mount and align gate mechanisms, control boxes, and sensors.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Conduct system testing to ensure proper functionality.
- Work on projects in commercial and industrial environments.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards.
- 1 years working with gate access control or similar systems.
- Must have a Valid Texas Alarm installer license
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License and own transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
