Audio Visual Service Technician Job Description :
- As a service technician, you will be crucial in successfully servicing audio-visual systems on time, on budget, and in accordance with industry standards.
- Coordinating and communicating work orders and progress updates.
- Updating the work order management platform, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently.
- Train clients and customers on how to use their systems to their full potential.
- Perform audio installation, service, maintenance, and small system layout with little to no supervision.
- Participating in the design of complete and operating audio systems, including job planning documentation, limited change orders, final testing, and commissioning.
- 2-5 years’ experience installing audio visual cabling and hardware in commercial environments.
- Capable of pulling, identifying, and labeling cables used for audio / video signals.
- AVIXA CTS Preferred, but NOT required.
- Experience with BI-Amp, Extron, and Crestron systems.
- Communication skills between general contractors, customers, clients, and vendors.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License and own transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Must have all hand / power tools required.
