Your Role as a Nurse Call Technician :
In this role, you will be responsible for installing and servicing nurse call systems in healthcare environments, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include :
- Cabling & Installation : Identifying cable paths, pulling, labeling CAT5e / CAT6 cables, and terminating connectors. Wiring audio and non-audio devices such as pull cords, call bed stations, and code blue buttons.
- Nurse Call Systems : Installing control panels, annunciator panels, and patient stations.
- System Setup : Programming, testing, and troubleshooting systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Coordination : Working with healthcare staff to minimize disruptions during installations.
- Maintenance : Conducting regular inspections and system maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- User Training : Training healthcare staff on the operation and maintenance of the systems.
- Documentation : Accurately documenting installation processes, configurations, and maintenance activities.
- Integration : Supporting integration of nurse call systems with other healthcare communication systems.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to pass an extensive criminal background check.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules.
