Your Role as a Structured Cabling Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will :

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber optic cables.

Perform diagnostic tests and certifications using industry-standard equipment to ensure system integrity.

Service and maintain IDF and MDF closets, including patch panels, cable management, and hardware.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to perform accurate installations and repairs.

Collaborate with clients and project managers to address service needs and ensure customer satisfaction.

Follow safety protocols and industry best practices in all aspects of the job.

What We’re Looking For :

Experience : 2 years in structured cabling installation and service, including troubleshooting and repairs.

Technical Skills : Proficiency with Fluke testers and other diagnostic tools.

Problem-Solving : Ability to identify and resolve system issues efficiently.

Blueprint Knowledge : Strong ability to read and interpret technical schematics.

Customer Service : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements :

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends.
