Job Responsibilities
- Dealerweb product revenue reconciliations and associated accounting entries
- Reviewing and posting Dealerweb clearance and settlement balances to the firm's general ledger
- Responsible for monthly invoice reviews, billing and general ledger postings
- Process and calculate broker commission payments and all necessary support
- SOX and Audit responsibilities related to invoicing, reconciliations and controls testing
- Preparation of various management and regulatory reports
- Business analysis for management estimates, budgets and forecasts
- Prepare ad hoc requests from Dealerweb management team
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience in securities accounting and / or broker dealer operations within the financial services industryStrong analytical and accounting skillsIntermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for general ledger.Ability to handle information with high level of confidentialityAdvanced proficiency in ExcelDemonstrated experience developing and maintaining models and databasesExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignmentsWorking knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow StatementsProven business partnering skills with the ability to communicate financial information in a concise and accessible manner to non-finance personnel and managementKnowledge of SEC and FINRA regulationsBrokerage experience, trading environment experience preferred but not requiredAdditional Information
