Job Description
- Identify applicability for duty-free entry using trade preference programs or other duty free provisions in the US regulations
- Working knowledge of Customs & Duties, HTS, Free Trade Agreements (NAFTA, GSP etc.) Determine the
- HTS Classification for the U.S. and other WCO Countries
- Establish clear and concise communications both internally and externally
- Manage multiple ongoing projects and project deadlines
- Daily tracking of project time
- Contribute to departmental improvements
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Demonstrated customer service skills and proven interpersonal skills
- Prior work experience in an international trade environment
- Required knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior analytical skills with a strong ability to logically document and explain processes
- Investigative and problem solving skills
