Position Overview:
TradeWind Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Support Specialist to assist in the development of work schedules, capital project deliverables, and the integration of work activities across multiple organizations. The selected candidate will work closely with management and other Client staff members to ensure seamless coordination and execution of project tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support multiple program activities required by Client.
- Conduct meetings and field walk-downs as necessary.
- Collect requirements, integrate TSCR lessons learned, and gather input from key stakeholders.
- Develop Critical Decision (CD) deliverables, including CD-3A and CD-2/3, as outlined in the project schedule.
- Assist in the development of a construction schedule to support CD-3A and CD-2/3 scope.
- Support the creation of a construction estimate for planned CD-3A and CD-2/3 scope.
- Contribute to the development of the project’s performance baseline.
- Prepare and submit an AMPS Construction Execution Plan, covering aspects such as:
- Project Scope
- Construction Execution Strategy
- Integrated Project Team
- Construction Contract Overview & Management
- Governing Regulations and Procedures
- Change Management
- Subcontract Execution
- Environmental, Safety, and Health
- Quality Assurance
- Schedule Management
- Internal and External Interfaces
- Testing
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two-year Degree in a Technical or Business Field.
- 10 years of experience in the nuclear industry with 10 years of experience in Department of Energy (DOE) Sites.
- 20 years of professional experience in projects related to design, construction, planning, scheduling, estimating, and testing.
- 5 years of experience in planning high-risk construction work packages for nuclear facilities.
- Experience with projects that require organizational & leadership skills that interface with the various organizations on the project.
- Preferred experience supporting DOE O 413.3B capital project(s), is desired.
Salary and Benefits Information:
Expected Salary Range: $175k - $220k / year (depending on experience)
