Help Wanted: Part-Time Office Assistant

Location: Innovation Depot, Downtown Birmingham

Company: Tradewinds Software Corporation

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. This role involves a mix of administrative support, light accounting tasks, customer communication, bank deposits and assistance with projects. The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general office tasks, including filing, data entry, and organizing documents
  • Handle customer inquiries and maintain professional communication via email and phone
  • Support accounting tasks such as invoicing, tracking payments, and sending statements
  • Help with software development-related tasks (no coding experience required, but willingness to learn is a plus)
  • Perform other assigned duties to support day-to-day business operations

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team


Schedule:

  • Part-time role with flexible scheduling
  • 30 /- hours per week
  • Opportunity for full time available
  • Position is hybrid, with 100% in-office first 90 days,
