What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer / Pipe & Trench position at Tradewinds Support Partners, LLC?
Local contractor in need of Laborers with pipe and trench experience. Long term project in East Amherst, NY. Duties will include the following:
- Dig trenches, lay concrete, and dig drainage ditches
- Unload and load materials, equipment, and tools from and onto trucks
- Clean and prepare construction sites
- Lay water lines, storm water lines, and sanitary sewer
- Operate hand and power tools, vibratory compactors, small hoist, and basic survey equipment
- Perform safety inspections of work areas
- Assist with the construction of pipe sites
- Ensure the proper fittings
- Clean feeder pipes
