What You Will Be Doing

The Lead Treasury Management Implementation Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day work for the Treasury Operations team and supporting the more complex client relationships. Ensures team is delivering high-touch service to internal and external clients that is defect-free, timely, and demonstrates care. Facilitates the implementation of new Treasury Management products and services and maintains a team providing a wide range of administrative and clerical support related to the Treasury Management function.

• Leadership, Management & Accountability (LMA): Supervises the work of Treasury Management Specialists. Holds the team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments and demonstrating a One Team mentality. Dependably shows a relentless obsession with values alignment and client service. Maintains a strong management presence, motivating staff and building commitment to the overall Treasury Management team and the Bank’s priorities and direction.
• Training & Development: Accountable for partnering with Operations Management to develop approach for training and development activities. Responsible for delivering training activities that promote growth and development for the staff. Ensures training promotes consistency, accuracy, and adherence to department processes and procedures.  Serves as subject matter expert for the team.
• Client Support: Actively engage in Treasury Management phone and email accounts to provide exceptional client service to the Bank’s most complex Treasury clients. Provides on-site client support, as required, through the client onboarding and implementation process of Treasury Management products and services. Partnering with Treasury Management Sales team to identify and recommend products and services that meet client needs. Assists in providing awareness of Treasury Management products to other teams within the bank.
• Product & Service Implementation Support: Research solutions to ongoing product issues and presents solutions to VP, Operations Manager. Lead implementation for new Treasury Management products and services, with little supervision. Effectively partners across teams related to system upgrades and communications. Maintains experienced understanding of Treasury Management products including the onboarding, risk mitigation, and continued maintenance of those products.
• Account Monitoring & Maintenance: Facilitates monitoring and maintenance of system/ account activity to ensure data integrity and accordance with compliance, related to all applicable Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements. Identifies, reports, and communicates changes to the department’s policies, procedures, and practices.  
• Risk Mitigation and Ongoing Review: Maintains ongoing review of Treasury Management transactions to ensure proper use of the products, including, but not limited to: ACH batches, remote capture deposits, report review, and mobile capture deposits. Partners with sales staff to maintain a high standard of risk mitigation on Treasury Management products and services. Performs a risk mitigation review of Treasury Management transactions and review reports  
• Transaction Processing & Procedures: Effectively communicates with Deposit Operations, Client Experience Teams, and clients to complete accurate and timely processing of exception items related to but not limited to ACH, wire, check, etc., according to regulatory rules, Bank policy, procedures, and practices. Either develops or currently holds strong understanding of processes at Tradition Capital Bank.
• Collaboration: Partners within and across teams to support client experience. Works collaboratively across teams to gather feedback and respond constructively to opportunities to enhance Treasury Management products, services, and client experience. Maintains a strong communication within the Treasury Operations team and with teams across the Bank.

Professional & Educational Experience You Bring

A High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury Management with strong understanding of products and secondary credit risk associated with Treasury Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience; a minimum of 2 years’ experience in management.

For this position, we anticipate a pay range between $65,000 and $103,000 annually. Final offers will vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and Bank performance.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to type, carry, handle and feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception in the window environment and the ability to adjust focus. 
• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
