We are currently seeking a Resident Care Partner at our Dallas - Prestonwood community. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct personal care and supervision to residents in accordance with their individualized service plan. They will offer choices, and maintain, and promote dignity and individuality in order to enhance the resident’s individuality, satisfaction, and quality of life. The Care Partner will respond quickly to resident alerts, maintain confidentiality of resident’s information, and protect & honor resident rights. The Care Partner reports directly to our Assisted Living Director who oversees day to day operations of the community's Assisted Living department.
Responsibilities...
- Assist residents with activities of daily living;
- Provide resident care; Respond to resident calls;
- Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
- Communicates with other departments regarding scheduled activities;
- Communicate changes in resident care to management;
- Assists with resident outings and community events;
- Helps provide necessary assistance to ensure highest quality of resident life;
- Maintains confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information;
- Protect & honor resident rights.
Required...
- A High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
- Certified CNA or CMA a plus
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's and other types of dementia
- At least one-year experience working with residents with dementia
