We are currently seeking a Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) at our Clearfork community in FT Worth, TX. This person will be responsible for supporting the overall operations of Assisted Living. The RSC shall also be competent to perform all duties in the absence of the Healthcare Director, including supporting Memory Care as necessary. This position reports directly to our Healthcare Director and should be capable of making mature judgments, with experience in handling office practices and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting all aspects of the day-to-day healthcare operation of the assisted living and memory care community.
- Assist with management and oversight of business systems such as CarePredict, Eldermark (EHR/EMR), OnShift, Paycor, and McKesson-Orbits.
- Assist with incident reporting and investigations as directed.
- Assume duties and responsibilities as directed by the Healthcare Director in his/her absence.
- Assist with staff supervision.
- Interface daily with residents and responsible for physical, emotional, and mental well-being of residents.
- Interface with families, reporting any problems, illnesses, or other concerns as directed.
- Interface with doctors, home-health care, and any other agencies or individuals who have contact with the residents as directed.
- Always ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
- Responsible for handling questions and concerns regarding healthcare operation.
- Assist residents and families with questions and concerns regarding non-healthcare related operations and communicate with appropriate department manager.
- Must be knowledgeable of and able to perform all fire and safety, tornado and disaster evacuation procedures, and participate in all community preparedness programs.
- Support labor and supply budget management.
- Responsible for management of the AL schedules, hours and overtime.
- Responsible for ensuring AL staffing is up to date on OnShift.
- Participate in on call rotation with HCD and MCD
- Interface with pharmacy/family to ensure orders are accurate.
- Assist Healthcare Director with all AL admissions.
- New hire training and orientation – ensure process is finalized and coordinate duties effectively according to the company procedures.
- Coordinate annual and monthly self-medication assessments with Healthcare Director.
- Coordinate annual assessments and service plans with Healthcare Director.
- Participate in special job-related assignments as may be requested by the Healthcare Director.
Requirements:
- Maintain current nursing license in Texas.
- Knowledge and expertise in specific service areas for the community.
- Understanding of financial parameters, budget creation, and management.
- Ability to effectively address and resolve both employee, resident and family concerns.
- Superior customer relations skills.
- Exhibits an energetic demeanor with a caring, compassionate attitude.
- Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to direct, supervise and coordinate the work of others and motivate for positive performance.
- Possesses sound organizational and time management skills.
- Possesses good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to utilize the computer and related software programs.
