Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cabinet shop helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and assisting in the delivering of custom cabinets.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report when supplies need replenishing.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or seasonal tasks.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition.
- Assist with cabinet deliveries.
- Assist with sanding and prepping cabinets for finishing
- Opportunity to move into an apprentice role for the right candidate.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to do occasional lifting of 100 pounds.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
