Activities Assistant Duties and Responsibilities :
- Carries out monthly activity calendar with varied activities.
- Recruits, organizes, trains, and recognizes volunteers to expand and supplement the Activities program while including the largest number of residents possible.
- Involves resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities to help the resident transition and maintain a satisfying wellbeing and positive state of mind.
- Encourages residents to participate in meaningful activities.
- Maintains all activity areas in a neat and orderly manner.
- Participates in Family Support meetings when needed.
- Maintains community involvement
