Position: Community Banking Specialist - Susquehanna Trail, York

Job Summary: As a Community Banking Specialist, you will work with new, existing, and prospective customers to identify and meet their financial services needs. You will coordinate work within the office and with other departments, building strong relationships and providing tailored solutions.

The essential duties and key responsibilities for this position include

• Creating and maintaining a customer-oriented culture by greeting customers and assessing their needs.
• Applying knowledge of all Bank products and services to identify sales and referral opportunities.
• Engaging in needs-based selling by building relationships with customers and updating their financial profiles.
• Implementing sales programs and achieving individual and office sales goals.
• Strengthening customer relationships through referrals to other Bank lines of business.
• Handling routine customer problems and inquiries promptly.
• Placing sales calls for various marketing initiatives.
• Being cross-trained on all duties of a Community Banking Associate and operating a cash drawer as needed.
• Providing office supervision in the absence of the Community Banking Manager.
• Approving fee reversals and check cashing within guidelines.
• Monitoring individual sales performance and reporting to the Community Banking Office Manager.
  
  

Qualifications For This Position Include

• A high school diploma;
• Two (2) or more years of banking experience or related experience in a comparable position;
• Proficient reading writing, grammar, and mathematics skills;
• Proficient interpersonal relations, communicative, and sales skills.
• Time management, multitasking and strong attention to detail skills.
• Moderate computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Visual and auditory skills.
• Regularly lift and/or move approximately twenty (20) pounds, occasionally lift and/or move approximately fifty (50) lbs. of coin
