The Practice
Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) is a full-service county hospital providing patient-centered healthcare services in a beautiful facility. Since 2008, we have offered a range of psychiatric services at CCRMC, including Inpatient, PES, Consult Liaison, Detention Facility, and Outpatient Behavioral Health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) modalities such as buprenorphine, methadone, naltrexone, and others.
- Provide medication management and monitoring for patients undergoing treatment for substance use disorders, including titration and adjustment of medications as needed.
- Offer evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services to support patients in their recovery journey, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Address co-occurring mental health concerns through integrated treatment approaches, collaborating closely with our team of mental health professionals.
Requirements
- 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
- 60-minute Intake appointments
- 30-minute Follow-up appointments
- Manageable caseloads of 200/FTE
