What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beverage Cart position at Traditions Golf & Country Club?
Responsibilities
Performs pre and post work shift duties, Following set-up/closing procedures.
Provides immediate attention to all members on golf course.
Distributes food and beverages from beverage cart; knowledgeably answers questions and suggests menu items.
Maintains professionalism with all members.
Maintains and cleans beverage cart area and equipment.
Maintain inventory counts of products used per shift.
Presents bills to members and guests and obtain payment and/or signatures.
Handles all cash, credit card and member charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
Attends staff meetings as required.
Consistently complies with all state, local and Club laws and policies relating to the service of alcohol; informs manager if service to a member or guest is questionable.
Consistently follows all proper sanitation practices, including those related to personal hygiene. Completes other appropriate assignments as requested by managers.
Performs all other appropriate duties assigned by Bar Manager or Food and Beverage Director.
**Must have knowledge of proper golf course etiquette**
**Must be available to work major holidays & club events**
**Must have basic bar knowledge**
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
