What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistants position at Traditions Home Health Services?
Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant who can assist with our client who resides in Bridgewater with household support and possible errands.
Available Shifts:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and possible Sunday.
Times: 12p-5p
CNA Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Monitoring vital signs, facilitating daily exercises according to the client's care plan, performing range of motion exercises, and walking.
- Assisting the client with her meals in accordance with the client's care plan and ensuring adequate fluid intake throughout the shift.
- Adhering to infection control protocols.
- Administering medication reminders and assisting with the application of eye drops, ointments, creams, and ear drops.
- Conducting household support such as laundry, folding, putting away clothes, changing sheets, vacuuming, washing dishes, and dusting to maintain a safe and clean home environment for the client.
- Engaging with your client in fun, stimulating activities to create joyful moments.
- Engaging with your client in meaningful conversations
- Providing transportation for outings, errands, and appointments, if needed.
- CNA would monitor and assist client with ambulation, if needed
- Proficient in dementia care.
- Competently documenting shift activities digitally using a smartphone frequently during the shift.
- Competently documenting during the shift client's fluid intake and meals eaten
- CNA would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
