What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aides position at Traditions Home Health Services?
Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aide to assist with our male client that resides in Wellesley.
Available Shifts:
Monday through Friday 10am-2pm
HHA Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities as needed.
- Preparing healthy, fresh meals in accordance with the client's care plan and ensuring adequate fluid intake throughout the shift.
- Adhering to infection control protocols.
- Administering medication reminders and assisting with the application of eye drops, ointments, creams, and ear drops.
- Conducting household support such as laundry, folding, putting away clothes, changing sheets, vacuuming, washing dishes, and dusting to maintain a safe and clean home environment for the client.
- Engaging with your client in fun, stimulating activities to create joyful moments.
- Providing transportation for outings, errands, and appointments.
- Doing errands for the client; groceries, medication pick up, and other possible errands
- Competently documenting shift activities digitally using a smartphone
- Home Health Aide would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
Any errands done during your shift in your vehicle, you would receive mileage reimbursement
