Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Beverage Server to join our team at WinStar World Casino & Resort. As a key member of our Beverage Department, you will play a crucial role in elevating the guest experience by providing exceptional service in an entertaining environment. Your responsibility will be to serve beverages with style, captivating guests with your enthusiasm and charm. Key Responsibilities
• Create a fun-filled, entertaining environment that exceeds guest expectations.
• Greet guests with fast, friendly service, incorporating a stage persona that adds to the overall ambiance.
• Ensure guest satisfaction, drink quality, and cleanliness are maintained throughout the shift.
• Have knowledge of drinks, ingredients, and prices to provide accurate information to guests.
• Take orders, serve drinks, explain preparation methods, and inform guests of specials to enhance their dining experience.
• Check guest identification and manage excessive drinking responsibly, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
• Write orders and handle payments efficiently, maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean work environment.
• Review procedures to improve service, performance, and safety, continuously striving for excellence.
• Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and guests to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Perform administrative tasks and maintain files accurately, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure clean uniforms and support teamwork by working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Must be 18 years of age to comply with gaming regulations and obtain necessary certifications.
• Ability to obtain a Gaming badge (if applicable) and ABLE liquor license, demonstrating a commitment to compliance and responsible service practices.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate varying business needs and guest demand.
• Incorporate a stage personality while serving guests, adding to the entertainment value and enhancing the overall experience.
• Possess knowledge of guest services and communication skills to effectively interact with guests and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Ability to read, write, understand orders, handle cash, and use computers efficiently, demonstrating strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Employee appearance is a bona fide occupational qualification necessary to ensure that employees maintain the entertainment theme of the casino. Uniforms will consist of a costume, and employees must conform to an appearance conducive to that costume, enforced equally for males and females.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing situations.
• Stand and walk during shifts, perform physical tasks, and work in a restaurant/bar/casino environment, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance.
• Moderate to high noise levels, exposure to smoke, and limited physical risk, requiring employees to be comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to accommodate business requirements.
