Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef at Traditions Hospitality Group, you'll work alongside our culinary team to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. With your culinary expertise and leadership skills, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our dishes meet our high standards.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing menu offerings.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking activities to ensure quality and consistency.
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet demand.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming badge.
- Must be able to obtain an ABLE license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sous chef or in a similar role.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times by adhering to the establishment's dress code standards, ensuring a polished and professional image is presented to guests.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- Creative mindset and willingness to contribute to menu development.
- Experience with menu planning, food costing, and inventory management.
