Memory Care Activities Assistant
Memory Care Activities Assistant Duties and Responsibilities :
Develops monthly themed activity calendar for residents based on the Memory Care Program Daily Routine.
Carries out monthly activity calendar with varied activities.
Recruits, organizes, trains, and recognizes volunteers to expand and supplement the Memory Care program while including the largest number of
residents possible.
Involves resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities to help the resident transition and maintain a satisfying wellbeing and positive state of mind.
Encourages residents to participate in meaningful activities.
Maintains all activity areas in a neat and orderly manner.
Participates in Family Support meetings when needed.
Maintains community involvement.
Memory Care Activities Assistant Qualifications and Skills :
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends due to special events.
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
One to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid State issued driver’s license and must be 21 years of age.
