The Traeger creative team continually looks to disrupt the outdoor cooking industry and provide ingenious experiences to our consumers—experiences that most brands try to copy but can’t replicate. As Traeger’s Sr. Graphic Designer, we rely on you to visually bring our brand to life in fun, thoughtful, and engaging ways. Through great time management, process knowledge, and software proficiency, Traeger’s Sr. Graphic Designer will help create new designs while streamlining and maintaining the quality of print and, occasionally, digital materials. This designer will interface with internal Traeger clients, vendors, and the management team to produce the best possible final assets. A strong understanding of layout, typography, color usage, and the ability to take a concept to a finished asset is a must.

What You'll Do:

As Traeger’s Sr. Graphic Designer, we rely on you to visually bring our brand to life in fun, thoughtful, and engaging ways. This designer will interface with internal Traeger clients, vendors, and the management team to produce the best possible final assets. How you will help us win:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and on-brand solutions that enhance the Traeger customer experience.
- Create and produce new branded content, including but not limited to packaging, catalogs, and marketing campaign assets, using brand standards as a guide.
- Thoughtfully execute ideas from marketing VPs and other internal clients through research, communication, and adherence to creative briefs.
- Modify and suggest improvements to enhance production quality and ensure that standards are met for both print and digital mediums.
- Participate in creative brainstorm meetings. Finalize, upload, and ensure the accuracy of design files once they align with a creative brief and have received approval from all stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot issues with external vendors, the internal creative team, and all brand members.
- Collaborate with peers, including graphic designers, copywriters, project managers, and brand team members, to achieve the best project outcomes.
- 4-6 years designing interactive projects.
- Minimum of 4–6 years of experience as a commercial artist within a creative department.
- Experience working with premium consumer brands sold through national retailers.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising, collateral, and sales materials design and production.
- Strong knowledge of both print and digital processes.
- Experience in exhibit and event three-dimensional artwork generation, with knowledge of grand-format printing as a plus.
- Illustration or fine art experience is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in design software, including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, XD, and Illustrator.
- Strong compositional skills and awareness of industry-related trends.
- Ability to work efficiently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working independently and following instructions as needed.
- Must be highly organized, able to multitask, collaborate effectively within a team, and make informed decisions while ensuring accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting or exceeding deadlines.
- Clear, effective, and frequent communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring no grammatical or factual errors in final assets.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
